This video was very unique which meant it differentiates itself from others. However there was no lip-syncing included which lowered its effectiveness. The video became quite repetitive as there was no particular storyline or varied locations. We couldn't really establish a link between the soundtrack and the video. It didn't meet the demands of the record label as the artist wasn't featured ad therefore varied shot types couldn't be included. Moreover this could be a positive element as it keeps the artist 'mysterious' and 'hidden'. It lacked intertextual reference. The genre for this music video is Indie and we feel that the video suitably fit this genre as the footage related to other Indie music video's as it looks natural and in a documentary style with the hand, held filming.
