Genre Specific Mise-En-Scene

Our music video is based on the genre Indie, we are following most of the obvious Indie Mise-En-Scene. For Example...

The Interior and Locations:
Our locations are going to be mainly her house and the streets around her, in her room it will be very quirky, interesting, weird and Random. This is in many Indie videos eg.

Kate Nash's Video, Foundations. She has a crazy house, and typical Indie Interior.

Also Jack Penate's Video, Second Minute or Hour. He is running down the street and the camera is following him, as we want to follow our main character in some points of the video.

Clothes and Performance:
In our music video we want to follow the conventions of the clothes that Indie bands wear. For example they wear quite quirky, original, bizarre and unique clothes. In our video we are going to have the main girl wearing very indie outfits and the band slightly less indie and more casual clothing. This is in videos eg.

Florence And The Machine's Video, Drumming Song. This has bizarre outfits. The video also conforms to the performing side of Indie, as she is mainly performing throughout the whole song.

Also Foals's Video, Balloons. This has a huge convention to Goodwins points about indie genre having a lot of performance by the band in their videos.
